Design Build

With our significant experience in federal construction, we clearly understand that “TEAMWORK” is important to the success of a project.  This is even more true for Design-Build Projects. We recognize that everyone from the final end-user to the subcontractors are part of the Design-Build Team. Understanding the challenges facing all team members will help us develop the foundation of successful project execution. Project success is dependent on the ability of the team members to work collaboratively and to be committed to the best interests of the project from beginning to end.

ESA South has professional engineers on staff to facilitate the design build process. These individuals help to bridge the gap between ESA construction professionals and our vetted Architectural/Engineering teaming partners as well as provide additional quality control perspective on design development processes. The review of design documents from a constructability perspective can help identify problems before they occur in the field.

The ESA South Design-Build Team offers the following benefits to our clients.

  • Design-Build capabilities and successful past performance
  • Relationships with experienced A/E Firms and trade subcontractors
  • Ability to provide leadership in partnering
  • Fast track Design-Build construction
  • Value Engineering
  • Superior Project Management plans include Risk Management, Infection Control, Safety, Quality Control, and Security, and Scheduling

“Contractor’s quality and quality control have been impeccable.  Contractor has a full-time QC, Superintendent and PM on-site and they have not only quality controlled the project, but also they have value engineered, worked extra hours and have been provided quality.  Examples apply to all the factors here, but contractor mobilized his forces with absolutely no impact to site or patient care operations.  Absolutely no utility impact occurred during this period”
